SAUNA 81°C
Custom saunas & ice baths in Barcelona
Finnish sauna expertise for Barcelona homes, villas, hotels and rooftop terraces. We have already completed several projects in Barcelona.
Your home. Your ritual.
We design, build and deliver premium saunas, cold plunges and complete wellness spaces for Barcelona — from city apartments and rooftop terraces to villas along the coast. Each proposal responds to the property, the way you want to bathe and the manufacturers best suited to the specification.
Start with the site
Send Robert a photo, the dimensions or a sketch. Together we look at the layout, heating, finishes and how the sauna reaches the site — lift, stairs or crane. Your architect or the Ajuntament de Barcelona can advise on the permissions required for your property.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom sauna or ice bath cost?
Every project is built for its site, so the price depends on size, heating, finishes and access. Send us a photo or the dimensions so we can discuss your project and prepare a budget range.
What is the lead time?
Some models can ship from stock. Custom projects typically take 4–10 weeks from approved design to installation, depending on the model and the season. We build to a queue, so booking early for spring and summer helps.
Do I need a permit for a sauna in Barcelona?
It depends on the property, its zoning and whether the structure is permanent. Your architect, the Ajuntament de Barcelona or your local council elsewhere in Catalonia can confirm what’s required. We supply drawings, specifications and technical data to support any application.
Should I choose wood-fired or electric heating?
Wood-fired gives the softest, most traditional löyly, but needs a wood store, a chimney and someone to tend the fire. Electric heats on a schedule and can be controlled remotely with the right controller, which suits rental villas and hotels. Check local rules on open fires during the dry season.
What is included in THORA?
A sauna, the FRODE cold plunge (600 L, with a separate technical pack) and a shower in one module: 550 × 225 cm, 245 cm high, in thermo-treated pine with Ardesia Nero porcelain, or Calacatta Black as an option. It arrives wired and plumbed; the site needs a level foundation, power, water supply and drainage.
